OLIVER PAIPOONGE, Ont. – A rural barn fire is under investigation.
Oliver Paipoonge Fire rescue crews responded after a blaze broke out in the structure on a Pole Line Road property around noon on Thursday.
The barn was located near the back of the property but a significant amount of smoke was visible from the road.
Neighbours said they believe there was livestock in the barn, though there is no confirmation whether any animals have been lost.
The Thunder Bay Police Service said the fire does not appear to be suspicious.
