FORT FRANCES, Ont. -- A Couchiching First Nation man is in police custody after a break and enter incident in Fort Frances on July 4.
The 35-year-old is accused of breaking into a domicile whose residents were home, early Saturday morning.
A Fort Frances OPP spokesman said a scuffle ensued and the suspect fled the home.
Police then established a perimeter around the area and apprehended him.
The suspect is charged with break and enter with intent to steal a firearm. He is scheduled to appear in court on July 8.
