Second pedestrian hit Saturday was five-year-old outside LCBO

An ambulance has taken a five-year-old boy to hospital after he struck by a vehicle in a liquor store parking lot. The vehicle hit the child as he rode a scooter between parked cars outside the Landmark Inn LCBO around 4:40 p.m. on Saturday.

An ambulance has taken a five-year-old boy to hospital after he struck by a vehicle in a liquor store parking lot.

The vehicle hit the child as he rode a scooter between parked cars outside the Landmark Inn LCBO around 4:40 p.m. on Saturday.

A Thunder Bay Police spokesperson said the boy hit his head hard and was taken to hospital as a precautionary measure.  

The incident occurred an hour after a vehicle hit and dragged a pedestrian at the south end of Boulevard Lake.

Police are investigating both cases.
