Traffic stop leads to Hydromorphone bust

KENORA, ON)  Members of the Kenora Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged a Kenora man following a vehicle stop in downtown Kenora on Monday August 24, 2015.  

Just before 8 p.m., police stopped the vehicle and the police investigation resulted in the arrest of the male driver for suspended driving and a search of the vehicle. 

Police located an amount of Hydromorphone capsules as well as drug trafficking paraphernalia.

As a result of this investigation, 20 year old Tristan WILDFONG of Kenora has been charged with Trafficking of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking contrary to section 5(2) of the Controlled Drug and Substance Act and Driving While Disqualified contrary to section 259(4) of the Criminal Code.    

He is to appear in Kenora Court on October 1, 2015 to answer to the charge.
