Thunder Bay Police Service Media Release
At about 1:30 p.m. Thursday (27 August 2015) Police, Fire and EMS responded to a collision involving a motorcycle and an SUV at the intersection of Toledo St and Huron Ave.
The investigation showed that a Subaru, driven by a 63 year old male was eastbound on Huron Ave and had stopped for the stop sign.
This driver then attempted a left turn onto Toledo St and struck the motorcycle that was southbound. The 31 year old male motorcyclist suffered minor injuries and was taken to TBRHSC for treatment.
The driver of the SUV was charged with a turning violation.
