Police arrest two in crack cocaine bust

Thunder Bay Police snagged 17 grams of crack cocaine in a late-night drug raid on Tuesday in the Academy Park area. Police say the seized drugs had a street value of about $5,100.

Thunder Bay Police snagged 17 grams of crack cocaine in a late-night drug raid on Tuesday in the Academy Park area.

Police say the seized drugs had a street value of about $5,100.

Thunder Bay’s Francis Jake Sky, 52 and Ottawa’s Gedi Bache, 18,  face possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking charges, while Bache also faces obstructing a police officer and breach of recognizance charges.

Bache is being returned to Ottawa, where he’s wanted on a number of charges, including attempted murder, robbery, aggravated assault, assault causing bodily harm, assault with a weapon, a number of firearms offences and breach of undertaking.
