THUNDER BAY -- A fundraiser to support Camp Quality has been canceled.
The National Inside Ride was supposed to take place at the CLE Coliseum on Thursday but organizers say low participation has forced them to cancel it.
“We are sorry to have to make this announcement, but after careful consideration and in consultation with our event partner, have made the difficult decision to cancel the event due to low participation,” Ashleigh Quarrell, Director of Camp Quality Northwestern Ontario said.
“Words cannot express how grateful we are to everyone who has been a part of this event, from participants to sponsors to organizers."
Funds raised for this year's event will still go to Camp Quality unless those who donated would like a refund.
The event had raised a total of around $50,000 in the past.
