Port has busiest November since 1998

THUNDER BAY – More than 1.2 million tonnes of cargo was shipped through the local port in November.

According to Thunder Bay Port Authority CEO Tim Heney that doesn’t just mean it was a great month, instead it represents the busiest November the Port has had since November 1998.

The shipping season isn’t ready to cool down either. Heney believes the port could see another million tonnes by the end of December.
