Trio of business robberies linked to one suspect

THUNDER BAY -- Police suspect the same woman in three north side business robberies Thursday night. At 10:27 p.m., a woman police describe as being 5'3" tall with brown eyes and a skinny build held up Frankie's Pizza on Regina Avenue.

THUNDER BAY -- Police suspect the same woman in three north side business robberies Thursday night. 

At 10:27 p.m., a woman police describe as being 5'3" tall with brown eyes and a skinny build held up Frankie's Pizza on Regina Avenue. She escaped with an undisclosed amount of cash.

At 2 a.m., the Tim Horton's on Cumberland Street was robbed and the suspect fit the same description. In both instances, the suspect was wearing red checkered pyjama pants and a checked beige jacket with fur on the hood.

Then at 2:21 a.m., the same woman is suspected of robbing the Mac's convenience store on Red River Road.

In all three cases, Thunder Bay Police Service reported "no weapon was seen."
