THUNDER BAY – A special weather statement issued for this city and the surrounding area over the weekend has been lifted.
Environment Canada issued a special weather statement Sunday warning the city could see up to 10 cm of snow Sunday afternoon into Sunday evening. This statement followed about eight centimetres of snow accumulation early Sunday morning.
The city can expect a bit more snow Monday, however, Environment Canada is only forecasting an accumulation of about two centimetres.
