Thunder Bay Police are investigating an attempted robbery of a taxi driver which occurred this morning in the city's south side.
A male had taken a taxi to an address in the 200 block of Dease Street. Upon arrival, the male pulled a knife and demanded money from the driver. The driver got into a brief altercation with the suspect who then fled the scene. No money was taken. The driver was not injured.
The suspect is described as:
. Caucasian male - early 20's
. 5'7" tall - thin build
. Some facial hair on chin
. Wearing a grey hoodie and blue jeans
