(FORT FRANCES, ON) - On the 5th of February, 2016, at 1:30 am, a traffic stop was conducted by members of the Rainy River District Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police, (OPP) in the Town of Fort Frances as a result of an on-going investigation.
Three subjects were subsequently placed under arrest and approximately 33 grams of cocaine and a quantity of cash was located and seized.
As a result of the investigation three subjects were charged with Possession for Purpose of Trafficking under the Controlled Drug and Substance Act as well as Possession of Property Obtained by Crime under the Criminal Code of Canada.
All three were released on a Promise to Appear in court on May 2nd, 2016 to answer to the charges.
