THUNDER BAY – Three people are in the hospital after a collision involving a city bus Monday morning.

Shortly after 10:30 a.m., first responders received reports of a two-vehicle crash at the corner of Hodder Avenue and Cuyler Street.

Police at the scene say a 40-year-old man driving a pickup truck with two passengers, an 11-year-old boy and a 14-year-old boy, were sent to the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre with unknown injuries after they collided with a city bus on Hodder Avenue.

The bus was stopped at the time of the crash picking up and dropping off passengers.

About five passengers were on the bus at the time of the crash.
