Province announces $7.7M for Highway 527 improvements

The province has announced some improvements to a portion Highway 527. 

Work is expected to begin later this month to rebuild a 25-kilometre stretch of that roadway, starting 98-kilometers north of Highway 11/17. 

The $7.7 million contract has been given to Pioneer Construction and is expected to create about 70 jobs. 

Completion of the project is expected in 2013.

Funny but Decoursey Lake is way before this section of road. The new road begins 98 Km up Spruce River Rd.
