Mr. Paul Danylyshyn age 85 years passed away peacefully in Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre on Wednesday, February 23, 2011.
Born on Oct. 24, 1925 in Fort William, as a young man Paul was an avid hockey fan, spending many days and nights playing and also cheering on his favourite teams including the Port Arthur Mars and the Thunder Bay Twins, amongst others.
He was predeceased by several family members, including his eldest son Barry for whom Paul dedicated much of his life.
Paul is survived by several family members including his two sons Gary Danylyshyn and his family of Winnipeg, as well as his youngest son Gerald and his family of Cobourg, Ontario.
Cremation has taken place and a celebration of Paul's life will be held on Wednesday, July 6, 2011 at 2:00 PM in the Everest Funeral Chapel, 299 Waverley St. at Algoma with Pastor Neil Otke officiating.
