Mr. Robert Francias Micheal Topping, age 54 years, a resident of Thunder Bay, passed away a hero on Saturday March 19, 2011.
 
Robert was born in Timmins, Ont., and during his lifetime had done many things.  He was a carpenter in his younger years but his recent trade was a professional truck driver.

His recent employer was Bruno's contracting. Robert enjoyed going camping and fishing at the secret fishing hole. He also enjoyed playing poker. His favorite place to travel to was BC as he grew up there as a child.

He enjoyed spending time with his children and his many friends. Robert went to college for engineering however his biggest achievement in his life was raising his son Jordan into the young man he is today.
 
Robert will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sons Jordan Topping and Jason Creighton, sister Karren and Jim Morrow, sister Bula, brother Andy Greatrix, his nieces Tammy Morrison-Rhynold and Lorraine Denneny, nephew Dan Morrison, cousin Veronica Hillyard, and other nieces.

He will also be missed by stepson Dustin Cloutier, stepdaughter "his lil princess" Summer Abbott-Cloutier, very close friends Paulette Cloutier and "Granny" Shirley Lamore as well as all of his many good friends.
 
Robert was predeceased by his mother and father Nillie Hillyard and Fred Topping, his sister Val Morrison, his cousin June Hillyard, and his niece Val.
 
Funeral Services for the late Mr. Robert Topping will be held at 12 p.m. on Friday March 25, 2011 in the Chapel of the Harbourview Funeral Centre, 499 North Cumberland Street.

Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery. Visitation for family and friends will be held one hour prior to service time.
