Mrs. Agata Duda (nee Tribusova), age 86 years, passed away peacefuly at her residence Roseview Manor on Sunday, July 10. 

Born March 7, 1925 in Veldy Saris, Slovakia, Agata came to Canada and Port Arthur in November of 1968 with her family to a start a new life.  Agata enjoyed gardening, cooking, baking and needlepoint.  She was employed for over 20 years at Westmount Hospital in the housekeeping department.  A very independent woman, Agatha was happiest when she was surrounded by her family enjoying Sunday gatherings and playing cards.

She will be lovingly remembered by her daughters Monika (Wayne) Thompson, Klara (Mike) Verescak and Helen (Jozef) Liba, grandchildren:  Monika (Paul) Harynuk, Michelle (Mike) Pizzi, Nancy (Brian Murray) Verescak, and Michael & Daniel Liba great grandchildren Britni and Nikolas Pizzi and sister Veronika Haraslinova. 

She was predeceased by grandson Gustav Grello, son-in-law Allois Grello, two siters and one brother in Slovakia. 

Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 25, 2011 at 11 a.m. in the Sargent & Son Funeral Chapel, 21 North Court Street with Rev.

Terry Sawchuk of St. Peter's R.C. Church presiding.
