Mrs. Antonietta Tropea, age 65 years, passed away peacefully with her loving family at her side at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre on Friday, Nov. 25, 2011 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Antonietta was a soft spoken woman, who always carried herself with elegance and style but she was never afraid to practice her sharp wit and humor. She had the ability to make even the most difficult of tasks look effortless with the outcome resulting in perfection.

Antonietta was the rock that her family could always count on, continually putting the needs of those she loved before her own. She enjoyed gardening, reading, shopping, traveling and watching her favorite soap operas. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Italian Cultural Centre and St. Anthony’s R.C. Church and was a dedicated volunteer for the Italia Juventus Soccer Club.

She worked at St. Pius School as a lunch time supervisor and also helped her husband with his business. Antonietta will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed by her husband Nicola, children:
