Glenda Lyn Squier

It is with profound sadness that the family of Glenda Lyn Squier, age 58, announces her passing at St. Joseph's Hospice on Saturday May 5, 2012 after a short but brave battle with cancer.

Glenda was a wonderful mother and a great example for her children when in 2005 she graduated from Lakehead University with a degree of Bachelor of Administration. This goal was achieved while raising a family and working full time as the manager of the Lakehead University computer store, Campus Tech.

Glenda will also be fondly remembered by those who were lucky enough to receive one of her hand made baby blankets and those others who's lives she touched.

Glenda will forever missed and lovingly remembered by her husband of 37 years, Jim, daughter Nicole(Ben), very special granddaughters Faith and Jayde, sons Michael and Steven(Tegan).  She will be greatly missed by her devoted sisters Debbie Polden and Sandra Brown(Terry), mother-in-law May Squier and so many more.

Glenda was predeceased by her mother Muriel Dunham and father Bob Polden.

Cremation has taken place and as per Glenda's wishes there will be no funeral.  A memorial service will be held at a later date.  The family would like to deeply thank the doctors and nurses at St. Joseph's Hospice for their excellent care.
