<p> It is with&nbsp;heavy hearts and great sadness that&nbsp; the family of Dennis Raymond Vance, announce his passing , following&nbsp; a very long and courageous battle with cancer on Wednesday May 9th 2012.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br /> <br /> Dennis passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family.&nbsp;He was a strong fighter right to the end and was blessed with a wonderful sense of humor that was loved by all.&nbsp;<br /> <br /> He touched each and everyone&#39;s heart whoever&nbsp; had the pleasure to meet him.&nbsp;<br /> <br /> Dennis sold real estate for almost 40 years and was well-respected by his fellow agents and clients.&nbsp;<br /> <br /> Dennis, along with his wife Lorene breed and groomed dogs for over 20 years.&nbsp;<br /> <br /> Dennis was predeceased&nbsp;by his mother Helen, father Robert and brother Brian.&nbsp;<br /> <br /> He will be lovingly remembered&nbsp;by his wife, Lorene who shared his life&nbsp;for&nbsp;47 years,&nbsp;his daughters, Laurie (Joshua and Ryan Hurdon), Michelle (Kurtis and Matthew Krasniuk) and Suzanne and fiance Scott Cameron(Adam, Lexy and&nbsp; Aiden Vance), brothers Terry, Robert and Donny, as well as&nbsp; numerous, nieces,&nbsp; nephews and cousins.&nbsp;<br /> <br /> Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service to celebrate Dennis&#39;s life will be held on Monday, May 14, 2012 at 2 p.m. in Lakeview Presbyterian Church, Camelot Street with Rev. Harold Hunt presiding.&nbsp;<br /> <br /> All services will be complete in the church.&nbsp;<br /> <br /> In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully request memorials to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Kidney Foundation.&nbsp;<br /> <br /> Online condolences may be made to:&nbsp; <a href="http://www.sargentandson.com" target="_blank">www.sargentandson.com</a>.</p> <p style="text-align: center"> <br /> &nbsp;</p>
