Mr. Giuseppe, “Joe” Macri, age 74 years, passed away peacefully with his family by his side in the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre  on Monday, Jan. 6, 2014.

Joe was born in Siderno, Reggio Calabria, Italy on March 19, 1939 to Francesco and Rosina Macri.  A painter by trade, he came to Canada in 1965 where he worked for various companies prior to establishing Lakehead Painting and Decorating in 1967.
