Shelly Mae, age 37 years, a resident of 149 Jamesons Avenue, Toronto, Ont., passed away at her home in Toronto on Jan. 6, 2014.
Born in Sioux Lookout, Shelly enjoyed hunting fishing and spending time in the woods. Whitewater Lake was her home, she loved being with her brother, Brian, and father, Stanley.
Shelly enjoyed all types of music but her favourite time of all was spending time with her pride and joy Boyde her baby boy. Shelly was a certified paramedic, volunteering at parades and large gatherings in Toronto.
Shelly will be loving remembered by her pride and joy Boyde, her mother Jean, sisters, Marilyn, Debbie and Lisa, brothers, Brian and Perry, nieces Ayanna, Alexis, Miranda, Christine, Shannon, Alison, Chantal and Felecia.
She was predeceased by her father Stanley Slipperjack, grandmother Daisy Slipperjack, aunt Clara Slipperjack, niece Mellisa Baskatawang, brother Elmer Wapoose, nephews Brian and Leonard Basketawang.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 31, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. in the Sargent & Son Funeral Chapel, 21 North Court Street with Mr. Ken Fund presiding.
Interment will take place in Whitewater at a later date.
As expressions of sympathy the family respectfully requests memorials to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
