Mr. Joseph Mirowski passed away unexpectedly at his residence on Jan. 5, 2014.
He was born in Fort William on July 21, 1941. Joe learned his welding trade with his Uncle Frank while working for Hacquoil Construction.
Later in 1963/ '64 he started working at Can Car (Bombardier), until retirement. Joe loved being out in the bush and the country fresh air. He grew his favorite vegetables and enjoyed going for short visits with family and friends.
Joe was predeceased by his parents Carl and Bertha, brothers Carl Jr. and Graydon; sisters Karolyn Woodgate, Judith Miyata and Janie (son Christopher). He is survived by brothers James of Nepean, Ontario, Darrell (Elvira), sisters Vondales Broome and Lois (Ed) Mannisto. Many nieces and nephews also survive.
A memorial service for Mr. Joseph Mirowski will be held on Wednesday, January 29, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Jenkens Funeral Home. Memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
