<p>
Mr. Laurence Anthony Bonazzo, age 83 years, passed away in the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre on Friday, March 14, 2014 after a brief illness. </p>
<p>
Laurence was born in Fort William on July 18, 1930 to Bruno and Emilia Bonazzo and was a lifetime resident. He worked for many years as a Millwright prior to becoming the Business Agent for the Millwright and Machine Erectors Union Local 1151. </p>
<p>
Laurence enjoyed spending time at his camp at Eva Lake and was also very passionate about music, learning to play both the keyboard and guitar. </p>
<p>
His family was very important to him and he was happiest when spending time with them. </p>
<p>
Laurence is survived by his wife Shirley, children Judy (Bill) Hryciw, Larry (Sundae) and Rod (Karen), grandchildren: Sheri (Joel), Mandy (Chad), Ryan (Karen), Sean, Kyle, Corry and Jamie; great grandchildren Teighlor, Jacy and Arya, brothers Reg (Marion) and Allen (Emma), sister Jeanette George as well as by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. </p>
<p>
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 19, 2014, leaving the Sargent & Son Funeral Chapel, 21 N. Court Street at 10 a.m. to St. Anthony's R.C. Church for the Funeral Mass beginning at 10:30 a.m. celebrated by Rev. Luigi Filippini. </p>

The interment service will follow in St. Andrew's Cemetery. Visitation for friends will be held on Tuesday, March 18th from 6-7 p.m. in the Sargent & Son Chapel where the Vigil Service will begin at 7:00 p.m. As expressions of sympathy memorials to the Ontario Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre's Northern Cancer Fund would be appreciated. </p>
