Les was born in Port Arthur, Ontario on November 1, 1954. He passed away peacefully at St. Joseph’s Hospice Unit on Saturday, January 10, 2015.
He is survived by his brother Stan (Linda), Sister Sheila (Russ) Wallick of Elliot Lake and nieces and nephews, Lisa Sdraulig (Rob Chony), Vicki (Marcello) Menei , Gary Pykari (Erin White), Melisa (Delon) Thomas, Christopher (Charlotte) Huchenski of Toronto and Steven Huchenski (Lori Ryan) of Sudbury.
He was predeceased by his brother Billy, mother Viola, father Oiva and brother-in-law Stan Huchenski. He was also predeceased by his grandparents, aunts and uncles.
As per Leslie’s wishes, cremation has taken place and no service will be held. Arrangements entrusted to the Sargent & Son Funeral Home, 21 N. Court Street.
The family would like to thank his long time caregivers, T.B.R.H.S.C, T.B.R. Cancer Centre, C.C.A.C, St. Joseph’s Hospital-5 south, Dr. Migay and the wonderful staff of St. Joseph’s Hospice who with their compassion and kindness give people Respect, Peace and Dignity in their final days. Angie, you are an angel.
