Ms. Florence Twance age 65 years was peacefully called home on Thursday, January 22, 2015.
Flo was born July 1, 1949 in Pic River to Charlie and Rose, the fourth of eight children. She loved her family, spending time with John, Lisa and her grandsons were the lights of her life. She waited for them to arrive before taking her final journey home. Flo was a devout Catholic who always had Jesus in her heart. She enjoyed crafting, watching religious movies, her Tim Horton's, and listening to Elvis and the Beatles. She loved when friends and extended family would visit her and she absolutely loved the sound of the hand drum songs that her sister Bea would sing to her.
Survived by her son John (Lisa), grandsons Kaden and Brant, siblings Martha (Lionel), Duncan, Geraldine (Ken), Beatrice (Gerry), Joan and goddaughters Grace and Roberta. Numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.
Predeceased by her parents and siblings Evelyn and Ivan.
Funeral Mass for the late Ms. Florence Twance will be held on Monday, January 26, 2015 at 1:00 PM in St. Francis Xavier Roman Catholic Church celebrated by Father Milton McWatch. Interment to follow in Pic River First Nation Cemetery. A feast celebrating Florence's life will be held in the Pic River Community Centre following the burial. Visitation for friends will be held in the Church on Saturday from 5:00 PM and on Sunday from 3:00 PM.
