Mrs. Mary Ann Eldridge (nee Bortolin) age 73 years, a resident of Thunder Bay, passed away in St. Joseph's Hospital, on Saturday, February 21, 2015.
Mary Ann was born and raised in Fort William. She graduated from St. Patrick’s High School and Kings Business College. She worked in the City of Thunder Bay Assessment Department. Mary Ann is survived by her husband Gerald, daughter Kim (Luigi), sister-in-law Brenda Bortolin; nephew, Chris (Jody) and their children Christopher and Sophia; nieces, Laura (Allan), Mary (Rob) and their newborn son Stanley; sister-in-law, Jarlene (Eugene) Cymbalisky; nieces, Debbie and Stacy, and nephews, Shaun and Taylor; brother-in-law, Marvin (Ilona) and nephews Jason and Trevor. She was predeceased by her father Sebastian (Sam) and mother Leopolda Bortolin and brother Frank Bortolin.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 27, 2015, when family and friends will gather for Funeral Mass at 10:30am, at St. Patrick's Cathedral celebrated by Rev. Msgr. P.M. Stilla V.G. Flowers are gratefully declined. If friends desire, memorials to the Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
Mary Ann will be remembered in the Blake Funeral Chapel Memorial Grove. Annual dedication service Sunday, June 12, 2016.
