He's Gone on his Final Journey

Louis Joseph Edmond Aube, age 75 years, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 26, 2015 in Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre.

Louis was born in Hearst, Ontario on February 18, 1940, one of eight children born to Rose and Henri Aube. He worked for many years as a painter/drywall decorator with Knudsen being his longest employer. Louis eventually tried doing it on his own, before going to work in the B&B Shop at the CP Railway until retirement. Louis was an excellent tradesman and was very proud of his work that he did in this community. Louis married Barbara Rose in 1960 and was the best husband a wife could have. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends and other who knew him.

Louis is survived by his wife, Barbara; daughter Colleen and three sons, Robert, Andre (Michelle) and René as well as his granddaughters Katelynn, Brooke, Holly amd Savannah. He is also survived by his brother Maurice and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

He will now be joining his fishing buddy, Kenny. Louis was also predeceased by his parents and numerous siblings.

Visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, March 3, 2015 from 5:00PM until 7:00PM in the WESTFORT CHAPEL, 420 West Gore Street at James. Private interment will take place at a later date in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Should friends so desire, donations made in memory of Louis to Northern Cancer Fund would be greatly appreciated.
