Mr. Richard Allan Syrja, age 56 years, a resident of Thunder Bay, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, March 26, 2015.
Richard will be sadly missed by his mother Eva Kauhanen, brother Norman (Shirley) Syrja, sister Gaylene (Bryan) Smith, niece Dawn Smith and Nephew Sean Smith (Cheryl) as well as aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.
Richard was predeceased by his father Reino Syrja (1975).
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 8, 2015 in the Chapel of Harbourview Funeral Centre, 499 North Cumberland Street presided by Rev. Chris Harper. Visitation for family and friends will be held one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Arthritis Society.
