On Sunday, May 24, 2015, Mrs. Adeline Elizabeth Kotanen, age 92 years, went to be with her Lord and Saviour.
Adeline was born on October 25, 1922 in Port Arthur, Ontario to Margaret and Charles Lawrence.
Survived by her son Daniel (Jean) and grandchildren Rachel, John and Katelyn; son Rod (Nancy) and grandchildren Kaarina and Kirsten. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
Predeceased by her husband Arvid; daughters Lorna and Sheliah; sister Rhoda (Freeman Saunders) and her parents.
The family extends their appreciation to the staff of Pioneer Ridge, Plaza 1 for their exceptional care in making our mother comfortable.
Funeral services for the late Mrs. Adeline Kotanen will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, May 27, 2015 in the EVEREST FUNERAL CHAPEL, 299 Waverley Street at Algoma. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday evening from 6:00pm until 8:00pm in the Everest Chapel.
