Mrs. Adalgisa Marconi, age 100 years, passed away peacefully in Dawson Court on Friday, July 3, 2015.

Adalgisa was born in Castelli, Teramo, Italy on February 2, 1915. After losing her first husband, Pietro Di Rocco during WWII, Adalgisa immigrated to Port Arthur in 1948. She met Ferdinando DiGuiseppe and they were married until his passing in 1967. Adalgisa found love again a few years later and on October 7, 1972, she married Aurelio Marconi. Adalgisa's family was most important to her and she dedicated her life to taking care of them and their home.

Adalgisa is survived by her children, Robert (Karen) DiGuiseppe, Rocco DiGuiseppe and Linda (Allan) Johnson; nine grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. She will also be missed by her nephews Benito (Bernice) Sacchetti and Mark (Sharon) Sachetti as well as her nieces Leda (Albert) Villella and Rossana (Fred) Sylvester, whom she resided with prior to her move to Dawson Court. Numerous other relatives also survive.

She was predeceased by her three husbands, Pietro DiRocco, Ferdinando DiGuiseppe and Aurelia Marconi; her son Richard Marconi; brother Mario (Angela) Sacchetti and daughter-in-law Palmina DiGuiseppe.

Funeral Services for the late Mrs. Adalgisa Marconi will be held on Wednesday, July 8, 2015 leaving the EVEREST FUNERAL CHAPEL, 299 Waverley Street at Algoma at 9:50AM to St. Anthony's Roman Catholic Church for the Funeral Mass at 10:30AM, celebrated by Father Luigi Filippini.

Entombment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday evening after 5:00PM in the Everest Funeral Chapel with Vigil Prayers offered at 7:00PM.

Should friends so desire, donations made in memory of Adalgisa to St. Anthony's Church or the St. Joseph's Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
