Mrs. Helen Gertrude McGregor, age 94 years, passed away peacefully in Bethammi Nursing Home on Monday, September 28, 2015.
Helen was born on September 22, 1921 in Dysart, Saskatchewan. She worked for many years at Zellers until retirement in 1996. Helen had a good sense of humour and was passionate about tennis, playing well into her 80's. Family and friends were most important to Helen and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Helen is survived by her three children, Ted (Janice), Kay (Don) Kamaranski and Jim (Joyce) as well as her six grandchildren Julie, Lana, Susan, Laura, Lisa and Kelly and great-grandchildren. Numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.
She was predeceased by her husband, William as well as her parents and siblings.
Cremation has take place and a private family graveside service will be held in Mountainview Cemetery at a later date. Should friends so desire, donations made in memory of Helen to a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Westfort Chapel, 420 West Gore Street at James.
