It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jon Krieger, 58 years old. After a short battle he succumbed to his illness. He passed away November 22nd at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre.
He will be greatly missed by his children Jason (Grace), Jesse, Jessica (Jason) and April. Grandchildren - Nicholas, Cameron, Sophia, Benjamin and Jesse Jr. Siblings - Linda, Priscilla and Brian (Melissa) and numerous nieces and nephews.
Lastly “His Hon” of 22 years Juanita Wanakamik and her children Liberty, Logan (Dakota), Brendon and Kirsten and his little angel Audrina Blue. The entire Wanakamik family (Thunder Bay and Armstrong) will also miss him deeply.
He touched the lives of so many others too numerous to name - you will know whom you are. Jon enjoyed watching and collecting movies, riding his bicycle, fishing, camping, cooking, playing pool (Rack em up!), yard work and volunteering whenever needed.
Jon was predeceased by his father Helmut, mother Alice, sisters Jackie, Vivian and Jeannie, brother Sonny, auntie Annie, grandparents Jane and Moise and grandson Krystian.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 26, 2015 at Jenkens Funeral Home, 226 South Syndicate Avenue, at 1:00 p.m. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service time. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Northern Cancer Fund.
