It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the passing of Isobel Anne Comeau (nee Tulloch) age 91years, with family by her side.

She was born in Muir-of-Ord, Scotland where she met and married her Canadian Soldier, Larry Comeau.

As a war bride, she immigrated to Canada in 1946 to meet up with her husband where they started their new life in Port Arthur. Isobel was a wonderful mother; the head of the family, the one who could always make you feel better no matter what. The world will be so empty without her here, but heaven just got a whole lot brighter.

Isobel is survived by her sons Victor, Jim and Ken (Kathy); daughters Sandra Reid, Val Wylie (Jim) and MaryLou Sandberg (Larry); daughter-in-law Carol; 14 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by husband Larry, son Tom, son-in-law Edward Reid, sister Agnes Pringle and brother Jim Tulloch.

We would like to thank her caregivers, Dr. Silliman, Dr. Skunta, Dr. Feldstein and the wonderful nurses at TBRHSC and St. Joseph’s Transitional Care Unit.

Funeral Services for the late Isobel Comeau will be held on Friday, Nov. 27th, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Knox United Church, Shuniah Street, with Rev. David Silliman officiating. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Isobel's memory to the charity of your choice.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Harbourview Funeral Centre.

Online condolences may be offered at harbourviewfuneral.ca
