Mrs. Marie Francoise “Frances” Hupalo, age 67 years, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 20, 2016 surrounded by her children at Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident.

Frances was born on April 2, 1949 in Sudbury, Ontario. She worked for many years at the Toronto Dominion Bank prior to her embarking on an early retirement role as a home health care provider. She loved to nurture things; whether she was caring for people, or working in her garden, or lending a helping hand to her family and many friends. Frances was quick with a smile and a laugh and had a remarkable ability to listen. She had in the last couple of years, reconnected with many friends and extended family through social media.

She is survived by her children, Pamela (Chris) Sorel, Stephanie (Chad) Ziemer and Christopher (Heather); her spouse Jim Gough; grandchildren Julian, Jordyn, Talyn, Camryn, Dilhyn, Tatum, and Hadley. She is also survived by her siblings: Armande (Edward), Agathe, Gisele, Therese, Bernard (Pat), Marcel (Heather) and Denis (Marie); sisters-in-law Maryann (Elmer) and Gloria (Stephen), brother-in-law Paul and numerous nieces and nephews. Loving memories of Frances will forever be cherished by special niece Louise and long time friend Diane and their families.

She was predeceased by her husband, Paul; her parents Donat and Jeanne Beland as well as brothers, Gregory and Armand. Also predeceasing her were brothers-in-law Kenny Hupalo, Ray Paquin, and Ronald Bobbie.

Funeral Services for the late Mrs. Frances Hupalo will be held on Saturday, May 28, 2016 at 11:00am in the WESTFORT CHAPEL, 420 West Gore Street at James. A private family interment will take place at a later date. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday evening from 6:00pm until 8:00pm in the Chapel with Vigil Prayers offered at 7:00pm.
