It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Leonard Peter Pullan on Monday July 18, 2016. Loving Husband, devoted father, cherished son and admired brother. Len touched so many lives and had such a passion for life. He was a true friend, a special uncle and remarkable nurse.

Len was born on February 3, 1973 in Thunder Bay, Ontario. Len attended Hillcrest Highschool and Confederation College where he studied practical nursing.Long time employee of St. Joseph’s Care Group and the Ministry of Health and Long Term Care.

He was a psychiatric nurse who worked in Inpatient Mental Health, Seniors’ Mental Health and Community Mental Health. He always went “above and beyond” caring for his clients and supporting his colleagues, friends and family.

Everyone has a heart-warming story to tell about Len. This was a man of many talents, who approached his interests with passion.Len had a love for the great outdoors, camping, hunting, fishing and spending time with his friends and family. His wife Krista was the love of his life and his soulmate.

They were meant for each other in every way. Len said, “Krista is the only one that can put up with my craziness and she is my rock, my confidant, my support.” Len was so appreciative of the role model and support that Krista is to his daughter Marquise. There is nothing in this world that Len was more proud of than Marquise.

“To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children… to leave the world a better place… to know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded.”
