With sorrow the family of Margaret Maronese announce her peaceful passing on July 20, 2016, at the TBRHSC.   At 94 she still lived in the home her and Albert built and loved.

She was predeceased by her parents, Paul Toman and Christina Tapak, her husband Albert, her brother Paul, her son Dennis, and her grandson Christopher.  She is survived by Marilyn (Carl) Johnston, Raymond (Karen), Brian (Wendy), Allan (Roma), 14 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren with 3 more coming.

During the war she worked at CanCar and later at the Post Office at Christmas.

Family was priority to Margaret and she welcomed visits with great food, always ready to babysit, or beat us at cribbage or Chinese checkers.  Mother was very religious and spent many hours volunteering at St. Elizabeth's Church.

Her love of gardening was evident in her yard which got rave reviews. Margaret's many friends were a joy and comfort to her. She will be sadly missed by all those whose lives she touched.

Prayer services will take place at Blake's Funeral Chapel on Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at 7 pm. A funeral mass on Thursday, July 28, 2016 at 11 am at St. Elizabeth’s Church celebrated by Rev. Rey Ronquillio will be followed by a luncheon at the Church. In lieu of flowers memorials to the TBRHS Foundation would be greatly appreciated.

Margaret Maronese will be remembered in the Blake Funeral Chapel Memorial Grove.  Annual dedication service Sunday, June 11, 2017.
