Mr. Ryan Mathias Beerthuizen, age 31 years, passed away unexpectedly in Thunder Bay on Thursday, July 21, 2016.

Ryan was born in Thunder Bay on July 15, 1985 to Joanne and Joe Beerthuizen. He attended local schools and became a very successful Salesman. Ryan was great at his job and truly loved it. He had that “true gift of gab” in him and could sell anything, even “a sock with holes in it.” He enjoyed travelling and anything outdoors, including fishing, camping, biking, quadding and golfing. Above all else, family was most important to Ryan. He deeply loved his wife and children and was proud of them all. He was a true friend, loved to make people laugh and had a huge heart. Ryan would give anything to help those in need and everyone loved to be around him. He will be forever missed by all of his family and friends.

Ryan is survived by his loving wife, Erin (nee Nichols) and his children, Kyleigh and Brody; parents Joanne (nee Kaemingk) and John Joseph Beerthuizen; sisters Tabitha and Tammy; grandfather Derk Kaemingk and grandma Sjaan Charron. He is also survived by his father-in-law and mother-in-law David and Leslie Nichols; sister-in-law Kelly-Ann; brother-in-law Kyle as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and other relatives.

He was predeceased by his grandmother Audrey Kaemingk and uncle Addy Beerthuizen.

Funeral Services for the late Mr. Ryan Beerthuizen will be held on Thursday, July 28, 2016 at 1:00PM in the WESTFORT CHAPEL, 420 West Gore Street at James. Cremation will follow the service with a private interment at a later date.

Should friends so desire, in lieu of flowers, donations made in memory of Ryan to the Diabetes Association or an education fund for Ryan's children would be greatly appreciated. Contributions can be made by email transfer to jobe@tbaytel.net or at any CIBC Branch (Transit # 02087 Account # 7765789)
