Bruce John Lunn passed away peacefully at his ranch on Monday, February 8th, 2010. Born in Fort William on October 7th, 1945, he grew up in Sioux Lookout before returning home in his teens, where he met many life long friends in Vickers Heights.

Upon Graduation at Selkirk High School, Bruce received a bursary to continue his education, but as his Mother had just suffered a heart attack, he decided instead to go to work to support his family. Bruce began his career at an entry level position at Grant Industries, and with his proven ambition his career success moved him out west for many years with Henderson's Distributing before returning home to Thunder Bay in 1988 to be near his sons Terry and Tim. He soon became manager of North American Lumber, a position he held for many years before joining Sears in 1997. His "hobby" at Sears, as he liked to often call it, proved as successful as his prior endeavors, and he was soon promoted to Sales Team Lead.

But his true passion was spending countless hours with his grandchildren Matthew and Tia, Logan and Mallory. From soccer to hockey, baseball to acting and motocross racing, Bruce was always there proudly cheering them on. Afterwards he loved taking them all out for pizza. His hobby of photography can be seen in the hundreds of pictures of his grandchildren proudly displayed on the walls of his home.

Bruce is survived by his son Terry (Candy) and grandchildren Matthew and Tia, and son Tim (Karri) and grandchildren Logan and Mallory, and "his" dog Hunter. He is also survived by his sister Deanna (Erick) Albrecht and family.

Bruce was predeceased by his parents Don and Olive, and his beloved Newfie dogs Bear and Midknight.
