Dad passed away peacefully Friday morning. He and mom are back together again, and Greek dancing has started in the heavens. Thank you to all the family and friends that were there for him in times of need. Thank you to all the wonderful caring nurses and doctors at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre and for especially the staff at St. Joseph's Care Hospital 4 North (where the food was just Great). A special thank you to Dr. Jennifer Atwood his family physician. He loved you, and he always said "you are working for the guy above". Dr. Abdel-Malak his specialist, for his exceptional skills. Thunder Bay is lucky to have you! Dad had a great life and was a great husband, father, uncle, friend, neighbour, godfather, and hunting buddy. As per HIS wishes there will be no service. Donations to the Sick Children's Hospital in Toronto (to help little children like his 4 year old grandson Adrian, who has a heart condition) or Canadian Mental Health Association of Thunder Bay would be greatly appreciated.
