It is with heavy hearts and deep sorrow that we announce the passing of a loving husband, father, nonno, brother and uncle Beebe. He was born on June 25, 1925 in Ranzano, Pordenone, Italy. Livio left his homeland in February, 1951 alongside his older brother, Virginio with the hopes and dreams to work towards a better life. Shortly after arriving in Fort William and securing employment at Dominion Motors, he brought over the love of his life Antoinetta (Totti) to begin their lives together. They would soon rejoice and celebrate the birth of their only son Louis. Livio spent the next 35 years working as a heavy equipment mechanic for Hacquoil Construction and Bruno’s Contracting. After retirement his greatest joy was participating in the growth of Louis and Norman’s company, Nadin Contracting. He influenced their lives and set an example that they hope to continue with confidence and honour. Livio was a compassionate and caring family man who took extreme pride and pleasure in watching his family grow. His smile would light up the room whenever his wife and grandchildren entered, no matter what his mood. His other passions included hunting, gardening, wine making, spending summers at camp with his family and he especially enjoyed when Totti serenaded him with Italian folk songs. He was an active member of the Alpini Association of Thunder Bay, the Principe di Piemonte and a member of St. Dominic’s parish. Livio will be lovingly remembered and forever missed by his wife of 55 years, Antoinetta, his loving son, Louis and daughter-in-law Fiorella. His grandchildren Dustin and Leah will always cherish the wisdom and love that their Nonno gave them and they will forever keep him close to their hearts. He will be sadly missed by his special brother Virginio and lovingly missed by special nephews and nieces, Norm (Kim), Megan and Mitchell; Clara, Dylan and Andrew; Guido (Maureen), Shevaun and Sheena; Anna (Tony), Ariel and Aaron. Livio is survived by other brothers and sisters and he is predeceased by his parents, Basilio and Edvige Nadin, along with 2 brothers and 4 sisters. We wish to express our heartfelt gratitude for his love and guidance during our time with him.

As we loved you, so we miss you.
