Mrs. Stella Kirouac (nee Moroz) age 85 years, passed away peacefully in St. Joseph's Hospice on Wednesday, May 5, 2010.
Stella was born January 10, 1925 in Hornpayne, Ontario. She attended school in Fort Frances, Ontario, lived in Winnipeg, Manitoba during the War years and then finally settled in Port Arthur. Stella met Lionel (Leo) and they were married in 1953. Her home was her main interest.
Stella is survived by her many nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives. She is predeceased by her husband Leo in 1996; parents Mary and Wasyl Moroz and sisters Rose Marsh, Helen Fish and one in infancy.
According to Stella's wishes cremation has taken place and a private graveside service will be held in Sunset Memorial Gardens. EVEREST FUNERAL CHAPEL, 299 Waverley St. at Algoma in care of arrangements. If friends so desire, donations may be made to St. Joseph's Hospice.
