I asked a friend in Toronto one time about a fairly large house across the street from her that never seemed to have much action going on around it. She said, “Oh, you don't hear much from that place. It's a treatment centre. They're pretty quiet over there”. I would welcome a residential treatment centre in my neighbourhood. It seems to me that it's the drug addicts who are not receiving any treatment who cause many of the problems in the neighbourhoods of our cities.
