Many concerned taxpayers in Thunder Bay have been asking for a plebiscite for the last several years now over the city's plan to build an event centre at the Water Street Bus Terminal Site at a cost of $106 Million.

Many  concerned taxpayers in Thunder Bay have been asking for a plebiscite for the last several years now over the city's plan to build an event centre at the Water Street Bus Terminal Site at a cost of $106 Million.

We, the Concerned Taxpayers of Thunder Bay, are holding a public meeting and open house on March 11 from  5 to 9 p.m. at the Mary J L Black Library, 901 S. Edward Street.

Ballots will be available at 5 p.m. and the meeting will start at 6:45 p.m. when I, Ray Smith, will address the crowd.

The public will then  have a chance to have their say and voice their concerns.

Everyone is invited as these are your tax dollars.

Raymond A. Smith,
Chairman Concerned Taxpayers of Thunder Bay
