LETTER: Bridge agreement looks iron clad

To the editor: The argument between the city, Fort William First Nation and CN seems pretty straight forward to me. It was a perpetual agreement which CN has already, by their own admission, been negligent.

Why weren't the vehicle sections upgraded 30 years ago?

CN vice-president of law Olivier Chouc said while the rail part of the bridge is sound, the vehicle sections are 30 years past their useful life span. Looks like another attempt of big business to dump their expenses on the tax payer. Maybe we need another road block to make a point.
