The Concerned Taxpayers of Thunder Bay will be holding their final meeting prior to the Oct. 27 municipal election on Wednesday, Oct. 22 at the DaVinci Centre.
Chairman Ray Smith and Jim McConnell will be the speakers. The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. Topics include taxes, the event centre and its impact on city taxpayers.
Mr. McConnell will be speaking on the proposed event centre and its expected impact on local hotels and other facilities like the Knights of Columbus Centre, the DaVinci Centre and the Italian Cultural Centre.
Everyone is welcome and the public will have a chance to have their say.
