To the editor:
Please reconsider the ethics of posting a graphic photograph of an accident as the header to a new article.
The victim, Darlene Kooistra, was my aunt. I was not notified of her death before seeing the photo and recognized her scooter by the stuffed animal attached to it before reading her name.
I understand it is an attention grabbing image but please exhibit some consideration for the families of the victims and drivers of future accidents.
