LETTER: Action needed to fight racism in Thunder Bay

To the editor: I would just like to say that I am not a resident of Thunder Bay and have not been in Thunder Bay for years. My husband and I are a target of the racism that is going on through social media.

To the editor:

I would just like to say that I am not a resident of Thunder Bay and have not been in Thunder Bay for years.

My husband and I are a target of the racism that is going on through social media.

A picture was taken from my facebook page that is used to keep in contact with my friends and family. It's not used for anything racial and dysfunctional.

My question is how long does this have to be displayed and be seen by people around the world before something is done about all the racism sites labelling Thunder Bay?

Racism has always been in Thunder Bay and just seems to be escalating by the day. I would be concerned for the safety of the Anishinaabe population in Thunder Bay, especially when they have already targeted Anishinaabe children on these facebook sites.

May the creator be with all those who have been victimized by these persons or person.
