The  tbewswatch poll question for June 27,  was as follows for those who may have not seen it:

Following another flood, what do you believe is the most important budget-time priority?

1. Low to no tax levy increase - 60%
2. Sewer infrastructure -18%
3. Road infrastructure- 16%
4. Event Centre- 6%

The Event Centre was also at the bottom of the list in the city's Ipsos Reid poll with only 13% stating it was a high priority.

Why does council continue to disregard the public's plea to have a plebiscite on the proposed Event Centre?

No wonder the public does not attend or trust public budget consultations that the city claim are transparent. Perhaps opague would be a more appropriate word to use.
