Chill to start 2012 season at home

By Leith Dunick, tbnewswatch.com

The Thunder Bay Chill will be getting an earlier-than-usual start to their 2012 Premier Development League home season.

The soccer team will open the season at home on May 25 against WSA Winnipeg , the start of a two-game series.

The Chill then hit the road and head to the Rocky Mountains, where they’ll take on the Real Colorado Foxes on June 1, before returning home for a pair against the St. Louis Lions.

Thunder Bay travels to Winnipeg for the fourth weekend of the season, then take on arch-rival Des Moines on June 22 and 23 before embarking on an extended road trip to St. Louis and Des Moines that will see them play four games in eight days.

They’ll wrap up the season at Chapples Field against Kansas City on July 13 and 14.
